Fr Attard spent much of the weekend with the small team and his presence was truly enriching as he provided the small team with various items to reflect on over the course of our meetings, he also challenged each member of the small team to reflect on the realities in our countries and to work slowly and patiently towards achieving our goals.  On the Saturday afternoon we were joined by Sr Maria Del Carmen, who along with Fr Attard shared her reflection on the role played by Salesian youth movement in Europe, she commended the good work being done by the small team and challenged us to continue this work into the future.  After the formal meetings took place the new Rector Major Fr Angel Fernadez Artime SDB, paid us a visit, he spent 45 minutes with us in which he spoke about his admiration for the work being done by the movement while also promising to support our work in whatever way possible. His energy and passion were evident for all to see, even though he spoke in Spanish, his passion was easily understandable to all.  The meetings ended on the Sunday morning with a Mass with the community at the Pisana, before each member departed with our preparations for Vienna under way.
