Last Saturday, 11 April 2015, four full coaches brought more than 200 pilgrims to the shrine of the Venerable Matt Talbot at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Seán McDermott Street in Dublin. This annual pilgrimage has been taking place for the last forty four years. After the Mass, a token of Matt Talbot was presented to Mary, the organiser, in recognition of her dedication over the years.
A Matt Talbot walking tour was then conducted by Terry Fagan, a local historian, who took a small group of those interested to some of the places associated with Matt Talbot, and up to Granby Lane where he collapsed and died in 1925.
