The Salesian Mission Office in Palleskenry supports both Salesian work in Ireland and worldwide. We are a charitable organisition. Our charitable works are staffed by Priests, Brothers, Sisters, and Lay volunteers.

These centres provide education, technical training, support to young people, construct buildings and help in many different forms. Through these activities they help the young people achieve intellectual, emotional, and spiritual maturity.

Purpose of the Mission Office

At the Mission Office we raise funds to support projects that Salesians are involved in with disadvantaged young people. We also raise funds for crisis stricken situations where Salesians have a presence.

We build awareness of the Salesians of Don Bosco by distributing the Salesian Bulletin which is a means of communicating this awareness of the work for the young at home and in mission areas.

We also promote prayer, through the annual Novenas in honour of Mary Help of Christians (feast day, 24th. May) and of St Don Bosco (feast day 31st.Jan). We also accept prayer requests and Mass donations, and prayers during the month of the Holy Souls (November)
