On Thursday last, 12 February 2015, in the College Chapel of St Patrick’s College, Maynooth, an important ceremony took place for some of the seminarians. On that day, thirteen of them received the Ministry of Reader. Among them, there were two Salesian clerics from Vietnam, Paul Tran Xuan Binh and Dominic Nguyen Viet Binh. The ceremony was presided over by Monsignor Hugh Connolly and concelebrated by Fr Koenraad Van Gucht SDB, rector of the Salesian Community in Maynooth, together other priests. There was a good number of family members and friends of the seminarians present to participate also in this great event. We wish all the best to these seminarians, especially to our two Salesian confrères in this new Ministry of the Word of God.
